Gleeds scoops second Client Advisor of the Year Award at East Midlands Property Dinner

Judges at last night’s East Midlands Property Dinner (EMPD) named Gleeds ‘Client Advisor of the Year’ for the second time during the event’s prestigious awards ceremony. The Nottingham-based property and construction consultancy was first awarded the coveted title back in 2013.

Held at The Belfry in Nottingham, the EMPD brings together hundreds of industry professionals to celebrate the region’s greatest property achievements.

The award recognises Gleeds’ substantial contribution to the local market through industry groups such as Nottingham Means Business and Team Nottingham; as well as the firm’s considerable charitable efforts and a 20% rise in employee numbers over the last 12 months.

The judging panel, which included: CMPG, Insider, Innes England, Marketing Derby and Strata, commended Gleeds for having consistently supported its clients with innovative property solutions, not only in the East Midlands, but on a national and international stage. Nick Gregory from CPMG, who assessed this year’s award entries, said: “It was a tough decision, competition was fierce this year, but we were bowled over by how proactively Gleeds had worked to direct new investment into the region, whilst not losing sight of their commitment to local clients.”

Gleeds Board Director, Jon Enever, who is based in the Nottingham office, said: “I am delighted that the team’s hard work and dedication has been recognised with this award. We’ve managed all of our national accounts out of the Nottingham office since it opened back in the 1930s and it’s become the second largest of our 56 global operations. As such, we’re committed to the East Midlands market and look forward to playing our part in encouraging more investment into the region in the years to come.”

The Gleeds Nottingham office is currently responsible for managing construction projects with a combined value of £1.75bn, £350m of which are being delivered in the East Midlands.
